Birthdays, anyone
Another year older, Sophie? Time flies when you’re having fun. Another year of making memories, New yarns and stories to be spun.
Sophie, do you feel any wiser? Don’t worry if that’s not the case. Maturity is over-rated. Oh, let’s just grow older in disgrace!
Romance, anniversary, for her
Sophie, you’re my universe, My head and heart you occupy. When we first exchanged our wedding vows, I was the whole world’s happiest guy.
Now on our special anniversary, There’s a thought I must convey. Sophie, I love you more than ever, And you grow more beautiful every day.
Congratulations, graduation
We’re so proud of you, Sophie, The dedication you have shown. You were our genius little baby, Now graduated and fully-grown!
All that fierce determination, Has yielded these triumphant wins. And though you’ve come so far, Sophie, Here’s where your life really begins.
Life events, birth
The dawn of so many special moments, A lifetime of wonder yet to live. A beautiful gift sent by the Angels, The most splendid gift that they could give.
It won’t be long ‘til your new bundle Blossoms into a butterfly. Sophie, treasure every single moment. From here, the happy times fly by.
In memory
Sophie, you left me far too soon, I dearly wish you’d stayed. And though you’re out of sight for now, My memories will not fade.
I’ll be thinking of you always, Of precious times gone by. Sophie, you never really left, Within my heart you lie.
Goodbye, retirement
Sophie, it’s time to say goodbye, But we’ll try hard not to mope. It’s just that if the truth be told, I’m not sure how we’ll cope.
We’ll have to pull our socks up, Sophie, Now we won’t have you to blame. But I hope you know we’ll miss you, And things will never be the same.
Thank you
Without your helping hand, Sophie, Things could have turned out sour. So thanks so much for helping me, You’re my Hero of the hour!
I know I ask a lot of you, And my needs can be bizarre! But I’m always grateful for your help, Sophie, you’re a Superstar!
Sorry
They say Sorry is the hardest word, I’m not sure if that is true. But I’m going to say it lots, Sophie, To try and patch things up with you.
I’m sorry that I let you down, So sorry I caused upset. Please accept a sincere apology, And understand my huge regret.
Get well soon
Get well wishes to you, Sophie, I know you’re not feeling too clever. I’ll be thinking of you loads, During your spell under the weather.
I know it won’t be long until, This sickness slumps off in defeat. You’ll be feeling on cloud nine so soon, You’ll get right back on your feet!
“I’ve ordered three times for all my boys first Christmas present as it’s a lovely keepsake. Always been easy to order, quick delivery. Would highly recommend:)”
“I think this is a beautiful gift beautifully presented! I have not tried locating the star yet as it is a gift but I love everything about this so far! I will probably be purchasing more at Christmas!”
“I named a star for the wife for Christmas, she was more emotional when she opened it than our wedding day I think! Awesome gift, she loves it. Brilliant customer service, great gift!”
“It’s really special and the quality is amazing, the certificates and things about the stars are lovely. An amazing gift to get for a loved one if someone’s recently passed and a great way to honour somebody. :)”

Personalised poem gifts, written around their name
A personalised poem is one of the most personal gifts you can give. Each Pick a Poem print is one of our own poems, written for an occasion, with the name of the person you are celebrating placed into the lines so it reads as though it was written only for them.
Choose a birthday poem for Mum, Dad, a sister or a grandparent, a love poem for Valentine's Day or an anniversary, a poem for a new home, a graduation or a retirement, a thank you, or a poem in memory of someone you miss.
Framed poem prints for every room
Prints come in A4, A3 and A2, as a print on its own, in a black frame or with a black poster hanger. Twenty background designs and a choice of colour tints let you match the poem to them and to their home.
From the Star Name Registry family
Pick a Poem is made by the team behind Star Name Registry and Starniri, so you can pair a poem with a named star or a star map for a gift they will keep.
Questions
What is a personalised poem?
One of our own poems, written by Pick a Poem for an occasion, with the name of the person you are giving it to placed into the verse, printed on a background design of your choice.
Can I read the poem before I choose it?
Yes. Every poem can be read in full in the builder, and the live preview shows your chosen poem with their name, the design, tint, size and frame before you add it to your basket.
Do I have to add a name?
Most poems use their name. A few, such as poems for Mum, Dad or Grandma, already speak to them, so no name is needed. Some poems are for two people and ask for both names, and some sign off from you.
Can I add my own name?
Yes. If the poem signs off from you it asks for your name, and on other poems you can add an optional “With love from” line.
What sizes and frames are available?
Prints come in A4, A3 and A2. You can choose a print on its own, a black frame, or a black poster hanger on A3 and A2. There are 20 background designs and 7 tint options.
How much does a personalised poem cost?
Prints are £9.99 for A4, £16.99 for A3 and £24.99 for A2. A black frame adds £12.99 (A4), £14.99 (A3) or £19.99 (A2), and a black poster hanger adds £9.99 on A3 or A2. The digital version is a free download.
