How do I send a handwriting, print or drawing?
Upload a clear photo or scan in the designer. If you don't have it yet, tick “I'll send it later” and reply to your order email with it.
Can I get a clear footprint or paw print at home?
Yes. Add the inkless print kit to your order. Wipe the hand, foot or paw, press it onto the card, then photograph the print and send it to us.
Which metals are there?
Silver or black. Both come on a matching chain.
Can I add words to the back?
Yes. Back engraving is included. Add up to 30 characters in the designer.
What are the prices?
Each necklace is £59.99 in silver or £39.99 in black.
Is this the same as a star map necklace?
No. These pendants carry handwriting, prints, drawings, initials or a street map. For the sky from a date and place, see Sky Maps.

How your engraved necklace is made
Four steps from a photo on your phone to a sterling silver or black pendant in a gift box. Back engraving is included.

Photograph the paw, hand, foot, handwriting or drawing in good light. A phone photo is fine.

Add that photo in the designer and see it on the pendant. No photo yet? You can send it after ordering.
We engrave it
We trace the print from your photo and engrave it line for line on a 925 sterling silver or black pendant.
We ship it
Gift-boxed and dispatched the same day when you order before 4pm Monday to Friday, or 11am Saturday.

What kind of photo works best?
A sharp photo taken straight on, in daylight, on a plain light background. Dark ink on white paper gives the cleanest lines.
Can you engrave a footprint or paw print from an ink print?
Yes. Photograph the ink or paint print and upload it. Prints on paper, card or a clay impression photo can all be used.
When will my necklace be dispatched?
Orders placed before 4pm Monday to Friday, or 11am Saturday, are dispatched the same day in a gift box.

Return anything within 30 days for any reason, personalised pieces included. Return postage is yours to pay, unless it arrived faulty, damaged or wrong, in which case it’s on us.
